I was living in Kenya for five months and tried to pick up the language, but just as I was starting to learn more I had to leave. I am going back to Kenya in June, and I would like to have a good grasp on the language so that I may carry conversations . I have the Rosetta Stone for swahili, but I am finding it very difficult. I am very much a beginner, but I would like to spend a lot of time learning swahili over the next three months. I am looking for a teacher who is going to push me and challenge me.

My son, who is 8 years old, shows promise in learning ASL. He has always been good at learning and understanding simple signs. I think he would do well with a tutor and that it would be a good skill for him to possess. He is a beginner, and knows most of his alphabet. He is very intuitive and can learn quickly. I would like for him to have an hour session per week. We live out in Warrenton, so we're looking for someone who can meet out here or close. It would be nice to have a teacher who is good at working with young children. I would like for him to work toward real conversationa l fluency over time, so that this is something he can really use in his life.

I want to learn Arabic to become a diplomat. I have studied for two years at the University of Michigan and have recently attended a four week immersion program in Rabat, Morocco. I would like to continue the Al-Kitab book studies, bring in my work, and have it corrected every week until I complete all three books. Then I would like to focus on media arabic with resources recommended by the instructor. I want to achieve fluency.
