i am seriously interested in visiting Shiraz Iran in 2014. Therefore I want to begin an effective study of Farsi. I very much love the poetry of Rumi, and I have studied a little on the history of modern Iran, beginning from 1800's. I have a great respect for Islam, and I have my own favorite translation of the Quran. So please don't worry about a religious prejudice. I have not yet bought my first textbook, so please reply as soon as possible. I will spend as much time as I can. I teach English to alot of Japanese univ. students.
