I lived in Poland for six months whilst I was studying at the Polish-Japane se Institute of Computer Technology. I had little opportunity to learn Polish as all of the students spoke English and preferred speaking in English rather than suffer my stilted attempts at Polish. I have learnt only a few basic phrases and some vocabulary but need to take this further.
I will be returning to Poland at various times in the future and may eventually move there permanently. I am therefore looking to become proficient in the language.
I am currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science and do not therefore have as much time as I would like. I would probably want lessons a couple of times a week perhaps for a couple of hours each lesson.

I am a beginner, I do not know any polish. I want to learn because I live in a polsih neighborhood. I will need to start at the beginning; even if I just learn to understand at first and not be able to speak, that's fine. I will dedicate whatever time is necessary. I will need a patient teacher who will enjoy helping me. This is very important to me.
