i do not speak the language at all and would like to learn it. I am keen to go to a class that would have interactive sessions and would like to meet people as well at these classes as i have recently shifted to baltimore and would like to meet people. I am interested in learning Spanish, French, and Arabic! I only have beginners knowlege in Spanish, I can read it much better then I can speak it. I am able to say very simple phrases but it doesn't come very naturally! I am looking to improve my accent in Spanish since I sound very gringa when speaking Spanish :).
I would love to dedicate as much time to learing these languages as my check book will allow. I understand that it is probably best to learn one and a time so I understand that this may take a while to become proficent in any of these languages.
I am looking to learn multiple languages because I think it is important in today's global society. I would also like to get a degree in international relations and I need to be proficent in a language before I can enter in the program. I would also like to work for the state department one day.
I am looking for a teacher with a lot of patience. I also have a very busy schedule with work and school during the week. I am open Friday nights as well as Saturday and Sunday early evenings. I am not sure if it is possible to find a tutor for these times, however I am in a LSAT prep class during the day and can not miss it.
If it is not possible to get weekend classes I would be willing to wait until I am out of school this summer to start but I would prefer to start before then.
