I am looking to continue studies in mandarin, I learned for 5years while living in Singapore. I am 15 yrs old at the moment and have not had much practice since I moved back to Australia 2years ago, so i would say I am at intermediate level proficiency. I pretty much just need someone to jog my memory and also teach me some of the more practical words and phrases I didnt learn in my primary education.
I am also going on a trip with my school to Vietnam later in the year and would love to be able to speak some of the language, just general words I will need for shopping or travels.
I am willing to commit to one lesson, lasting around an hour, per language per week. I am happy to learn in my home or somewhere such as a library (preferably in the southern suburbs) or the teacher's office. I pay in cash only.

I would like to learn Chinese because i have mostly asian friends and i would like to speak in their native language with them. I can speak Japanese and would like to study the chinese characters and learn what they mean in chinese and their difference to Japanese characters.
I also read alot of books about Chinese history, and i have studied alot about the Cultural Revolution.
I am planning to go to China in the future and i would like to start learning now so i can communicate with people when i get there.
