I am A high school student in my second year of spanish. I am struggling with grammer and test taking. I also took spanish in 7th and 8th grade. I can dedicate 4 hours a week. I want a teacher that has a passion for teaching, patience and understanding . I wanted to learn spanish because I live in a community with spanish is speaking neighbors. It also looks good on college applications.

French:
I have been studying French on and off for nine years, and I am no where near as good as I should be. I studied it in high school and have done a little at Uni. I haven't studied it properly for a year, and have been studying Spanish in the meantime so I am very rusty. Conversation is probably my weakest point, followed by grammar.
I want to spend a bit of time over summer refreshing my language skills, before I go back to uni.
Spani sh:
I have recently been travelling and spent 2 months in Nicaragua. When I arrived I did not speak a word of Spanish but I did take some lessons there. Also I spent two weeks in Barcelona taking some more spanish lessons.
C omprehension is probably my strong point in spanish, because of my background in french. But so far I don't have a great vocabulary or a wide knowledge of grammar.
I intend to pick up spanish at uni next year so want to get a head start over summer.
