I learnt some spanish while i was studying abroad, but could not get far, given the time constraints. now that i have a more flexible schedule, i would like t pick up where i left off. i have always been enchanted with spanish and latin american culture-- movies, music and food, but mostly, the literature. i would love to read marquez and allende in the original. these are some of the reasons i want to learn the language. i would like to maybe have private lessons or join a small class that meets twice a week, and i could practise on my own through the week. abroad, the class i joined emphasized written over spoken spanish, and i discovered that that was not the best technique for me. i would like a class that emphasizes both equally.

I have taken Spanish courses previously and would not consider myself a beginner, however, I find I have lost a lot of my learnings and would need to evaluate what level I need to begin at.
I believe it is an asset to be bilingual for work and travel, as well as personal gain.
I need help in all areas! Ideally I would like to dedicate a day or 2 a week for lessons.
I would like to have a teacher who is patient and enthusiastic and nice!!
