I am taking Russian at Tulane University and am in my third semester. I am looking into getting a tutor once a week for about an hour mainly to speak Russian with and correct me. I would like to work on my accent as well as my grammar. We don't speak very much in my Russian class, so I am slow at speaking and need the practice. Thank you for your help.

I would consider myself a beginner, but I do know most of the letter in the cyrilic alphabet and can make out words. I don't always know what the words are, but I have tought myself as much as time has permitted me (I am a full time college student). I know the basic, 'hello', 'how are you' 'my name' and some more than this. My husband is from Odessa, UA and speaks Russian fluently, as it was his first language. We visited there about almost 2 years ago, and are going back this summer. I set a goal for myself to speak better Russian, but just have not had the chance. I would really love it if you could help me out.

Hi;
I am a beginner of learning Russian. I have been listening to cd's and trying to learn off of the internet. I have met a Ukraine lady and visited her twice. She speaks little English. I feel ythat I need to learn her language, just as she feels she needs to learn mine. We are serious and want to go through the fiancee visa process soon.
I would like to have many Russian classes, preferrably in the evenins. It would be helpful if they could be on a Tues. & Thurs. night around 7:00pm for approx 2 hours each night. This schedule is negotiable too.
Do you feel that you can help me with my new adventure of trying to learn Russian?
