My name is Shawn, I was born in Canada and my parents are from Sri Lanka. My mom is Tamil and my dad is Sinhalese, they came to this country 35 years ago. I never learned Sinhalese or Tamil because my parents talk english to each other. I am 29 years old now and I really wish I had learned a language. I went to Sri Lanka a few years ago and was lost because I couldn't speak the language of my people. I would like to go back in the future, and I would like to know the language so I can learn and share with the people from my home. I am definitly a beginner, I want to learn the language for myself, and not for any career advancement. I would like to learn to conversate in Sinhalese, and I would dedicate as much time as I can and my tutor can. I just want a Tutor to help me learn and speak Sinhalese. I am willing to pay for services because I know nothing comes for free. I hope to be hearing from you.

I am a second year university student studying marketing and international business. For my degree i am required do know a foreign language and am most interested in learning Sinhalese. I am Sri Lankan by birth and therefore can understand quite well however am unable to speak and therefore i would like to learn at an beginners level.
