I am an Indian, on a visit to Dallas for 3 months.
I am a Beginner.
I got introduced to Spanish a few years ago because of Ricky Martin and Enrique. I love the tone of Spanish, and want to understand what it all means.
I can spend 4 hrs per day on weekends.
I am looking for a TEACHER who will teach me to speak Spanish.

3 year old and 6 year old children who have been around the Cantonese dialect of the Chinese language all of their lives. They understand more than they can speak. It is our wish that they continue to be immersed in the language so that they can be fluent in it when they are adults.
Th ey both learn very quickly. Both have also learned other languages (the 6 year old learned American sign and the 3 year old is fluent in Spanish). English is the native language spoken both at home and school.

beginner-plus. ..I have had 3 years of high school and college level spanish. I can understand a lot more than I can speak. I will be beginning medical school next fall and I plan to goto South America in the spring of this year. I hope to go with much stronger speaking skills. I have had experience in Costa Rica and Nicaragua under medical conditions so I have some knowledge of medicinal spanish. I want to dedicate 2-4 hours per week at least throughout the semester. I need a organized teacher with considerable experience who is prepared to get me over my fear of speaking. A more immersion-lik e class would probably benefit me most. Conversationa l spanish is what I struggle with and what I am looking for in a teacher. I hope to apply this socially and professionall y when I am a doctor.
