I am a Punjabi-Ameri can wishing to become more proficient in my native tongue. Although I understand Punjabi, I find it difficult to respond correctly. I am learning for the sole purpose of bettering myself and my communication with my family.
I am looking for a teacher who is friendly, easy-going and has flexible hours. Of course proficiency in both English and Punjabi is a must. I would also like to improve my Hindi a bit as well.
I would like to dedicate a few hours per week to lessons.

Would like a Punjabi tutor to teach my 10 year old boys. I am of Punjabi origin and have a rudimentary grasp of the spoken language. I would like for them to learn as much as possible. I have grown up speaking Punjabi, and I can read and write it at a basic level. I am learning Punjabi for academic reasons, because I would like to study Punjabi literature. The areas I need to focus on are increasing my reading speed and improving my grammar. I want to study Punjabi full time - about 20 hours a week. I would like my teacher to be knowledgeable about the Punjabi language and Punjabi history.
