I would like to learn Spanish because I am really interested in traveling extensively across South America, some time in the near future. Also, knowing a foreign language, like Spanish that is used extensively in a fast growing region of the world, would open up further career opportunities for me.
I have no knowledge of Spanish at this point of time. I am a beginner. Although, I have spent a lot of time with Spanish speaking people & I am comfortable with the diction of the language.
I can dedicate about 5-6 hours per week on the classes & then also give another 5-6 hours to self-study. I would appreciate if the classes can be on alternate days of the week. My regular work hours are 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. This needs to be considered in planning my class times.
I would like in-person classes - ideally in a group of 5-6 enthusiastic & ambitious students. I would like my teacher to be extremely straight-forw ard (about what he/she knows or doesn't know about the language), have a learning attitude himself/herse lf & create a positive & collaborative learning environment in the class.
