I did Spanish in High School and would like to be able to use it in securing another job in this challenging economy. I was laid off in June 2008, age 50 (will be 51 this year) and will be getting 'unemployment ' benefits of $212.00 a week until April 2009. I am not in the position to afford an EXPENSIVE CONVERSATIONA L SPANISH program and was wondering if you offer any 'options' for people in my situation? If not, do you have any suggestions? Being BILINGUAL IS AN ASSET in today's economy and my age. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I am abel to carry on a conversation, for the most part, however it is never usually a long one. The main reason is because of my lack of vocabulary. I can congegate already for the most part but would still like to become more afluent. My main goal is to become fluent really I use Spanish regularly most of my friends are spanish speakers.
I guess the reaso i desire to learn is really due to the fact that I am almost there already i would just like to enhance what I already have. I also have a desire to learn other languages but i would like to do it one at a time so first I need to become fluent in Spanish.
