I'm learning Japanese for the love of the language. It's beautiful.
I have some skill with the language, I know all hirigana and katikana, and starting on some grade one kanji. I have a slight grasp on particles and other small grammar guidelines.
I need improvement in sentence structure, kanji, and extending my vocabulary. I don't get a chance to ever use the language either, so help on where or what I could use to keep my Japanese in use would be nice too.
I'll be willing to spend as much time as needed towards my lessons as eventually I would like to be fluent.

Hello,
I would like to learn functional, conversationa l Russian so that I can interact better with my future in-laws. I took Russian 101 through the UofC Continuing Education program last fall but they're not offering the 102 section until at least January. Also, the group learning style didn't work very well for me and I would prefer to have classes tailored to my level and learning style. I have a good support system that is willing to help me, but I learn best when I have a structured plan. In addition to speaking Russian, I would like to learn reading and writing too as I find it nearly impossible to remember something if I can't see it written down.
Ideally, I would like to have a 1-hour lesson once a week. I do go out of town for work regularly, so flexibility in scheduling will be important.
