I am a beginner and would like to learn Spanish for travel and possibly to work in a Spanish speaking conunty in the future.
I would like to do lessons 2-3 times per week when I'm working and when I have time off, I work as a contractor on project based assignments so at times have between 1 week and 2 months off, then I would look at doing daily lessons.
In my teacher I need patience, I am not very good at language learning but perform best when pushed so need someone that will put pressure on me.

Hi,
I am full time student who found a job in Ottawa for the summer. I have been studying spanish at university since last september. I would thus say that I am at the intermediate level.
I was planning on going to Mexico for the summer to practice the language, but my trip had to be delayed because of the H1N1 flu. Meanwhile, I found a really good summer job here in Ottawa so I cancelled it all. Even though I'm missing on a amazing cultural experience, I want to continue to learn spanish so that, at least, I don't lose what I have learned so far.
As I have a full time job and that I go back to Montréal almost every week-end, I can not, unfortunatly dedicate too much time to language sessions. One meeting of an hour every week would be perfect for me.
What I would like in a teacher is that he-she would make me feel comfortable yet not be afraid to expect a lot from me. I am used to study spanish in an academic setting. You don't need to be too 'soft' on me! :)
