Studied spanish in high school and college at an intermediate level. It has been 30 years since I last studied spanish and tried to learn the language.
I want to be able to speak conversationa l Spanish with the large latino population in Dallas area. I feel relationally cutoff from people whom I would enjoy making friends with. Perhaps I could be helpful to them in their transItion to life in thE USA.
I need recovering everything that I used to know so many years ago. I would favor an immersion approach here in DAllas; ideally participating in the program with my wife.

Although my native language is Polish, I just graduated with M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language to Speakers of Other Languages). As an ESL teacher (adult level) I feel it is imperative to speak Spanish in order to teach in Nevada area. I learn languages fast and I can do a lot of work on my own, however, I need guidance, help with pronunciation , and the structure of classes with the teacher that will be setting weekly goals and ensure its completion. I believe that two 1-hour sessions a week will be the right pace for me. The price does matter, though, and I will consider only reasonable offers. As mostly a visual learner, I need the teaching methods that would combine conversationa l Spanish with reading/writi ng and the teacher who will challenge me with fast pace and high expectations.

I am a beginner in Spanish, and intermediate in German.
I am looking to learn some Spanish for a possible relocation to San Francisco, and a trip I am going on in March to Mexico.
As for German, I am more just learning it out of interest.
I am primarily looking for a Spanish teacher right now who can understand my unique learning needs, and will be patient with me. I will provide direct direction on how to best work with my learning style, and hopefully you will be able to encourage me to push my limits.
I am looking for 1-4 hours of instruction weekly, and willing to devote 2 hours weekly to personal study and review.
