I want to learn Korean because it is the language my parents speak. I want to feel closer to my culture. I grew up speaking Korean to my parents, but I did not have many Korean speaking peers, so I didn't practice very much. I can understand most conversationa l Korean, and I can communicate as well, but not often very gracefully.
I'd like to improve in conversation, grammar, and reading comprehension .
I'm looking for two hours of lessons, plus up to three or four hours of homework/read ing/watching Korean movies, per week.
The qualities I'm looking for in a teacher are good nature, patience, strong knowledge of grammar and idiom.
