I have to Latin America on a regular basis (at least monthly) for my job. The people I deal with on a business level all speak English. However, I would like to be able to understand them when they are speaking Spanish to each other. I also believe it would benefit me to be able to speak to them in their own language.
I have gone through about 1/2 of the level 1 Rosetta Stone. I know a lot of words in Spanish, but can only communicate in the most rudimentary, broken, Spanish.
I don't really care about being able to write Spanish. Being able to converse in Spanish is want I want to learn.
I would like to do one lesson a week in Spanish.
I would like a teacher that has good people skills and will be patience with me as I learn this language.

I am learning Spanish so that I can become a fully fluent, certified Bilingual teacher in Texas.
I would classify my proficiency level as a beginning intermediate.
Grammar and conversation are both skills in which I need to improve.
I would like to dedicate 2 hours per week to my Spanish lessons. I will dedicate 6 hours (one hour per day) to study.

From the age of three to about 5 I had a babysitter who spoke Spanish to me. I was fluent in the language, but then my family moved to another city and I had no one to speak Spanish with, so I lost it. Now I am seventeen and probably around intermediate skill level, but I want to regain my fluency. I'd like a one or two hour lesson, once or twice per week, with given assignments. Since my main goal is conversation Spanish, I would like a tutor who can speak on a wide range of topics, enjoys speaking the language, and is willing to brutally correct any of my mistakes.
