I am a Greek Cypriot by origin, born here in the UK. My parents speak English as their first language and speak Greek very well. As a child growing up I never adopted Greek fluently from my parents, lack of commitment on their part and location away from a Greek community does not help. I would really like to improve my Greek language. I have a good basic knowledge of the language, but feel private evening tuition would help motivate me to learn. Evening classes would be preferred.
My husband is South African and he has a desire to try the language, specially since he is a christened Greek Orthodox.
I am looking for an affordable evening tutor willing to come to my home in Petersfield, Hampshire. I think my husband and I need seperate lessons as we are at different learning levels. Maybe one hour and a half for me and the same for my huband, once a week? I would consider travelling myself if time and budget permits?
