Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
I have recently arrived in the Philippines to work here for the Netherlands Red Cross. My partner works for a Dutch engineering company in Manila.
We are both very interested to learn the language of our new host country, Tagalog, and would like to find a suitable teacher for the both of us.
We our both native speakers of the Dutch language and fluent in English, but only speak a few words of Tagalog so far. We would at least like to become proficient enough to follow and hold basic conversations with colleagues and other people around us.
If possible we would like to receive the lessons at home or otherwise near our home in Makati. We are able to dedicate 3-4 hours a week over an extended period of time. Our work does require some travelling, so a degree of flexibility will be very much welcomed.

I am learning a new language basically for career advancement purposes. I work in a government agency that requires interaction with foreigners everyday and French language is one of the most spoken languages.
I've worked with a French organization before and it is when my motivation to learn the language started. My proficiency lever is beginner, and I want to focus on learning to speak the language. I am currently working full time, with my work schedule changing every 7 weeks, so I am dedicating only two (2) hours for the lesson, preferably one-on-one. I can, however, be designated to a group, which is no problem with me as long as it suits my schedule.
My highest priority for a teacher right now is one that should have a more flexible time that can adjust to my schedule, since I am also doing my post-graduate degree.
