I am truly a beginner in tagalog and the visayan dialect known as karaya. I have been married to my wife for nearly two years and am planning on a nice retirement. We have two children both living in Manila Pasig City waiting on Visas to come to the United States.
I love my wife very much and also am in love with the country of the Philippines. Recently I tried to move to Manila in hopes of finding a job but found that my lack of ability to communicate was more of a hinderence then expected.
I am an educator as well as a retail sales managar and have had to move back to the states in order to support my family. I would like to communicate better with my wife, as well as seek opportunity to find employment (even though i am not considered to old at the age of 36).
I will dedicate as much time as i possibly can (2-3hours) a nite to aggressively learn this language.
I need a teacher who has patience and is willing to explain what it is i am saying incorrectly. My wife has tried to teach me but often looses patience because she can not explain to me in english what i am doing wrong or why a sentence is missing some essential words in my opinion.

I am a pre-med student at UIC and I want to volunteer with the Magen David Adom summer program in Israel, hopefully in two years. However, I do not speak Hebrew or know any. Therefore, I would like to have private one-on-one sessions, at least once a week, with either a native Hebrew speaker or someone who has had intensive training since youth. I am a native English speaker who also speaks Polish. I am available anytime after 4pm Mon-Thur & Sun.
