I studied Hindi in India for six months on an education abroad program. I continued with my studies at my home university for another 2 quarters until graduating. I am planning on applying for a fully immersive Hindi language program. I would like to continue with lessons to keep myself fresh. I would describe my proficiency as intermediate. I can read and write devanagri very well but have trouble with comprehension . In particular my vocabulary is deficient. I am stronger with general grammatical constructions . Also I am very weak in idiomatic sentences. At the most I would be able to devote 10 hours a week to instruction as I work full time.
I would like an instructor that has been trained in language instruction in particular. Teaching a language requires qualification s far beyond simply being a native speaker. I would like an organized structure and some kind of logical progression. I would prefer to learn in a small class size rather than one on one as that will give me contacts and people to practice with.

I am a beginning learner of the Korean language. I can read Hangul, and I know basic words and phrases but I cannot speak or understand Koreans at all when they use their language.
I would like to learn Korean because I intend to move their next year to teach English, and additionally because I like Korean culture and movies. However I am enrolled in school already and working a part time job, so I feel like I cannot contribute enough time to my Korean self-study.
Personally I would like to devote more time to my speaking and writing skills since I feel this is where I need the most improvement.

I am the Human Resources Manager at the Holiday Inn Select in Bloomington, MN. We are looking to set up english classes for our spanish speaking staff. We are hoping to have someone come to our hotel, that can help to tutor our Spanish Speaking employees that are in need of leaning some english. They would be at a beginner level. Sessions would probably be a couple hours each, and then we could have multiple lessons per day.

In our business we are becoming more exposed to the Chinese language but are lacking the basic knowledge of the language. There are 4-8 people in our organization that could benefit from learning Chinese so that we are not so crippled.
Al l of us are beginner and I would suggest that we spend at least 3-4 hours a weeks working on this language.
Th e quality of instructor would teach by doing and seeing, at a slow pace to allow all of the group the same educational needs to that we can learn together.
