Dear teacher/s:
I am glad to found out about you. My brother Gabriel will be living with me for 3 moths and we have been looking for some English training for him.
His English is not bad but needs some TLC, especially on the grammar and writing area. He just graduated from Law school and is planning to apply for a scholar ship to do a master on international laws in Italy and the TOEFL is required, and to take it he needs intensive training because the next applications for it will be next year.

I have recently been to China for a software project and have acquired a basic knowledge of Mandarin. I know basic words, grammar and phrases and can read about 75 characters.
I would like to maintain and expand my knowledge of Mandarin, as I will be returning at least twice within the next year.
What I lack is a good listening knowledge - understanding what is said to me. I also need to polish my tones.
I am looking for about 10 sessions to start, about twice a week for an hour. One of the sessions should be on the weekend, but that's no absolutely necessary. Any sessions during the week would have to be in the evening.

I am interested in learning French for conversation. I am definitely a beginner. I have been to France two times in the past 15 months and I love it and long to be able to converse. I am a full time teacher and would be able to take a class once per week. I would be interested in small group lessons if this proved to be more affordable as I am on a strict budget.
