I would like to learn Spanish as a third language (I am conversant in French) so that I can use it as I look for a global career position. I enyoy speaking German and want to speak more and learn to hold a conversation with someone.. I am starting German2 in Pimsleur CDs, and have picked up a little over the years. I have no one to speak it to and be better. I'd like to spend 1 or 2 hours a week with someone. I am an artist and professional art teacher to talented artists. I am learning Turkish because from the summer of 2011 to the summer of 2012 I will be studying abroad in Turkey. Although I have experience learning Spanish, I know very little Turkish. I leave in eight months for my trip and by that time I would like to be a strong beginner in Turkish. I am looking to dedicate 3-4 hours per week studying Turkish, 2 hours with a teacher and 2 hours on my own. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to be patient and work with me to improve my language skills.
