I am a beginner, and I wish to learn Persian because I love the literature and I've always loved the language in general. I am a first generation Iranian-Ameri can and would like to brush up on my conversation skills in Farsi. My goals are to learn more expressions, grammar, and conversate fluently. I would like to dedicate 1-2 hours a week to learning Farsi. I am looking for a teacher that will push me and encourage me to speak more. Increase my confidence level.

My family heritage is Italian. Some of my father's family reisdes in Rome and I would love to be able to converse with them in our 'native' tongue.
I am currently working with two programs: one is a CD driven program with a workbook. The other is also a CD based program following along with Italian conversations . They are excellent for helping me develop the correct inflection in my voice, however, I feel I need to engage in more of a one on one conversatio with an Italian teacher.
I would love to work with someone who will guide me through this process.

I am a PH D candidate, female, 31 and from Chicago. I have been to Turkey twice and am interested in learning Turkish for personal reasons. I am a beginner and looking to devote only a few hours a week to learning Turkish, as I am writing my dissertation.

I am a beginner wanting to learn the korean language. I want to be able to study abroad and visit korea, while being able to communicate in their native language. I know that I need a lot of improvement in my actual conversationa l skills. I took korean 401 for one semester at a community college, but it seemed like all we got to do was practice grammar and not how to speak and carry on a conversation. I am willing to dedicated as much time as I possibly can to learn the language I love.
