I am interested in learning Italian because I find it fascinating. I have studied it for about three months using Rosetta Stone, busuu, Fluentz, etc. But speaking with a native speaker has been the most useful learning experience.
I feel like a beginner, but I am able to recognize maybe 500 words of Italian when I see them. It is harder for me to think of the Italian word for something just given the English word for it. i.e. reading is easier than writing, and listening is easier than speaking.
I would like to improve in overall comprehension , vocabulary, general introduction, etc.
I will be able to spend about 8 hours in Milan on studying Italian. The afternoon/eve ning on Oct 27th and the morning/after noon on the 28th.
I don't have any specific requirements of the teacher, other than patience and enjoyment and having fun while learning.

I applied for a job with Border Patrol Agency. I am required to speak Spanish, or I will be at the end of the Academy. I know something in Spanish. It is not enough, though. I try to learn it by myself but it is not like you learn it with a teacher. Although I am going to be learning Spanish in the BP Academy I just want to help myself a little bit beforehand. It never hurts to know more.

It is very imperative for me to find a dedicated and experienced language teacher.I recently lost the father of my child whom was born in Ethiopia. He spoke Amharic fluently and it is very important to me to learn so that I may be able to teach our daughter. Learning grammar, conversation and even writing is my goal. I just want to learn swedish for fun. Swedish is an unusual language where i live and i am an unusual person. I am very dedicated when I set my mind to something and I love to learn new things. I would like to start off at a beginers level and hopefully work my way up to avanced. I would also like to learn how to use the language when talking about business or mathematics, also i am majorly into sience so learning some terms where that is concerned would be very intreaging. I would like a teacher who has experiance or common knowledge in all of these areas. I would like someone who is able to speak with me over the phone, skype, or in person, therefore i can make sure i am speaking the words properly.
