None, other than a few words. Definitely a beginner.
Russian heritage, hence my interest in learning the language. It was lost in my father's generation, but I have fond memories of listening to my grandparents.
I am very busy with work, but my goal is to become fluent.
I want a teacher who will really challenge me. I took french immersion when I was in elementary/hi gh school and I think that is the only way to learn. It would be great if the teacher could apprise me of Russian speaking opportunities around the city.

I have lived in China for a year and a half, I learned some basic words and very simple sentances during my time there. However I was too busy to take lessons so my Chinese never got farther then my own studies took me. I can read and write about 50 characters. I can speak (not well- tones are difficult for me) aproximately 200 words. I stayed in Wuhan, Hubei, and I'm told my Wuhanese is better then my Mandarin.
