I've been learning French since Grade 4. I'm about an intermediate level, however have been away for a year to a place in which I am unable to practice my French. I'd like to begin studying it once again when i am back, in January. I definatly need work in the vocabulary department, as well as past and future tense...which i've nearly completely forgotten!
I began learning bits and pieces of German while overseas. I have met many people who live in Germany, and I would love to visit them one day, therefore I am looking to begin studying German.
I believe learning other languages is very important, and I'd also like to travel, adn possibly use these languages to aid me in career paths.

I'm a beginner; I only know approx. 25-50 words in Croatian. I'd like to learn everything (grammer/conv erstaion/writi ng), but mostly I would love to be able to hold a conversation with a native Croatian.
I want to learn because my boyfriend's (serious relationship) family is from Croatia and I would love to be able to communicate with the older generation of his family without an interpreter.
As for time to be dedicated to learning, a few hours a week, and maybe a bit more would work out - I'd like to know the language quite well within a year. If this requires a bit more time, I'm willing to do so.
I'm a fast learner with some things, but some other things may need some work. So, a patient instructor would be good! One-on-one instruction, or a small group would work best. As a side note, I know 1-2 others that are quite interested in learning Croatian as well.
I hope to hear from somebody soon!
