-I am interested in learning sign language. I am a hostpitality major in school, and i think it would be beneficial to learn a language which some people over look.

-I want to learn, so as much time that is needed. I already know a lot of basics.
- Understand that even though this is not new to me, i do not know as much as they do. I do not want someone who moves to fast, but also someone who does not move to slow either. I want the reward of being able to talk to someone in sign language.

I have previous class experience however not much practical usage. I would consider my level to be intermediate. I would like to become fluent as well as teach my daughter as I learn. Ideally I would love to find a 'family' class for us to learn together.
I think I need a refresher in general but would like to improve my conversationa l skills. My schedule is flexible so depending on cost I would be open to classes 2 to 3 times per week.
The qualities I would like my teacher to have are passion, humor and patience.

My wife is from Taiwan. When I go there, I would like to be able to communicate with people-- especially my in-laws. I am hoping to find an instructor who is within a reasonable distance from Smyrna. I don't want to have to drive to far for instruction.
