I was born in China and immigrated to the US when I was 11 years old. I have since forgotten a lot of the Chinese especially in the areas of reading and writing. I still have good pronunciation and I still recall the nuances of PinYing. I am looking for a teacher who can help me get back what I had lost.

I can read and write Arabic at perhaps a kindergarten level. I can carry a conversation in Arabic with a Tunisian dialect. I want to learn more Arabic as I am a US Marine Officer and for personal reasons. I need particular work in vocabulary, conjugation, reading, and writing. I am extremely serious to continue my education, but will be limited only by my work schedule and my teacher's avaiability. I am looking for intense, serious, progressive instruction that will lead to: 1- being able to freely carry on in depth discussions and read in depth literature in Modern Standar and Classical rabic 2-to be able to pass the DLI Arabic test.

I know very little swahili, i have visited Kenya twice in the last year. I plan to visit again from August to November and during that time i wish to be taught Swahili in Nairobi. I am wishing to take 4 hour lesson 5 days a week from mid-August to early November. I want to be as fluent as possible in those 2 and a half months.
