Currently, I know no Chinese. I would like to learn Chinese for career advancement. If possible I would like learn conversation and grammar together. I am a school psychologist in San Jose that works with many Spanish speaking families and have been studying Spanish off nad on fjor the past two years. Las summer I studied for 3 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala. I am able to converse some but not fluently. I would like either private or small group (3-4 students)for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours per week, preferably one time per week, after 3:30 in the afternoon. I would also like to travel more. My goals include learning to understand conversation, radio, TV in Spanish and to communicate efficiently. Reading and writing in Spanish is secondary but, if time permits, I would like to work on that also. I am interested in cultlure, education, art, current affairs and politics and would be most interested in conversstion in Spanish on these topics.
