Hello.
I have recently fallen in love with the Portuguese culture and i would like to learn the language as well.
I have tried to learn the language with books but I feel like i need pesonal help from a tutor to learn and understand it better.
I also think speaking it is very important, so I would like to one day speak in fluently.
I am a very commited person and i like to finish anything I started.
The perfect instructor for me should be patient and flexible.Loca tion is very brutal too, I would like it if she/he lived very close to my city.

I had taken spanish in highschool for 3 years, but haven't really used it since. I have been out of school for 11 years so speaking spanish is hard for me now. I have recently began working here in Fayetteville and there are alot of spanish speaking people in this area. I think proficiency at another language will help me advance quicker in my job. I tend to understand the the language when it is spoken or written better than I speak it. I would like to dedicate at least 5-7 hours a week to lessons. I would like a teacher that encourages me to learn quickly and pretty much immerses me in the language. I would also like a patient teacher that can think of many ways to help their student learn.

I am learning a foreign spoken language for career advancement and sign language because I am losing my hearing. I have taken and passed spanish 1 & 2 but don't remember much. I have no sign language experience. My spanish needs to be conversasiona ly and verb conjugation, while mmy sign language would be from the beginning. I am open for suggestions on the time needed as my 2 kids will also be learning at the same time as there mother. I am looking for a laid back and flexible teacher that does not expect a top score on a test but expects understandabl e communication .

I am an advanced beginner in Khmer, and have traveled to Cambodia 3 times for several weeks each time chaperoning students and doing service. I expect to return. I have started to learn on my own with books and CDs and hope for an experienced teacher who can help me make more rapid progress with conversation and reading. Cost is a factor. Small group lessons close to home or an intensive at a US location for a few weeks in Dec, Jan, or Feb is possible for me.
