Living in Ottawa, bilingualism in French and English is required for most government and public service careers, and it is very useful for many jobs in the private sector as well. I know very little French, written or oral, but I'm interested in being able to communicate, roughly at least, in French and be able to write well enough so that I can pass a bilingualism test (if need be). I am flexible on hours and days. I only request that the teacher be friendly and patient, as I am myself a friendly and patient person.

I would like to learn Spanish for numerous reasons. My step-mom is Dominican and her entire family is spanish speaking, I love languages (I have picked up basic speaking ability, but I would really like to learn how to write/ read in spanish as well).
I am looking for lessons for the month of July, and perhaps continue them during the school year (I go to camp for the month of August so I will not be around then).
I am looking for a patient teacher who can help me learn more!
