I would like to learn Mandarin Chinese, I have never had lessons before so I am at the beginner level.
I would like to learn Mandarin for career advancement and also for personal interest.
I would like to understand the tones of the language, be able to converse and eventually read and write.
I work downtown and so would like to take classes close to that location or even at my place of work during lunch hours.
I am willing to spend 2 hours a week, meeting once a week for the 2 hours would be preferable.
I also live in Barrie and could meet in Barrie for lessons.
I would like a teacher who explains clearly, is patient and kind, makes classes interesting and would push me to learn. It is nice when the teacher uses interactive materials.

My name is Dylan Jones, I am 15 years old and I live in Canada.
My hobbies are studying the Great War. That's all, really.
I am really planning to visit Europe when I am older, so I am wanting to learn Dutch and French so I can properly 'fit in'.
My dream is to visit the beautiful fields and hills of Belgium and France, and standing on the battlefields of Passchendaele , Vimy Ridge, and The Somme.
