Dear futur teacher,
I am looking for a private teacher to help me with my studies. I find it very hard to stay motivated on my own and would like to meet someone once a week (about two hours).
I have studied Japanese for three years, two at Montreal University and one at Nagoya Gaikoku Daigaku (NUFS). I am about Nikyu level, but I feel like I am regressing because I do not practice enough. I would like some help with reading comprehension (novels and/or newspapers).
Since I (should) know the basics, I would rather have a class where I do the research myself (kanji, vocabulary, grammar) and get help and explanation afterward.
I am a 24 years old native French speaker, but I am mostly bilingual (English), so lessons in English are fine.

hello, i am interested in learning french, for career advancement and for the purposes of studying in quebec. i was born and raised in quebec, however, i lived in an english community and quebec was very segregated at that time, so my french skills are very basic and i did not have an opportunity to use them in a practical sense. it has been 30 years since i lived in quebec so i would have to say i am pretty much a beginner, but i may have some existing wiring for french so i may pick it up quicker than someone who has never been exposed to french.
i would also like to be informed about the fees involved in such study. thanks, megan.
