My son Iliya, who is 5 years old, speaks English with his father and Russian with me. I want him to be perfectly fluent in Russian at the level of (or close to) native proficiency. We are looking for an instructor who can teach him to read and cultivate a passion for reading. We expect a long-term engagement -- 3-5 hours a week. Preferable qualities in the teacher: excellent Russian language (not affected by the knowledge of English); the sense of authority but complemented by sensitivity and compassion; ability to encourage a child to learn, not exerting excessive pressure; vital personality and positive attitude.

I love Korean culture. For years I have been listening to Korean music and watching Korean dramas. I love the language and although I know very little to nothing I want to learn so badly. I have been teaching myself to read as best as I can by making notecards but i am worried of getting the pronunciation s wrong. I want to learn to read. write, and speak fluently. I am willing to dedicate about 3-5 hours a week but, I would have to see later how much time I have.
I would like to have a teacher that I can connect with, some one who is outgoing and i can have fun with while learning-some one who can make the lessons interesting. A patient teacher. I would also like to have a teacher no older than 26.
