I am visiting China in July 2013, and would love to learn conversationa l Chinese. I speak a little Spanish and Russian and generally do well in language studies. I would like at least 2 lessons a month. I am looking for a kind teacher with patience, but who will make sure that what I do learn is pronounced correctly.

I wish to learn a foreign language for career advancement but also because I want to travel to the countries that I learn their language. I am a beginner at learning any new language, so I feel that a teacher that would use the language everyday in conversation with me would be the best for me to learn. The time I want to put in will be as much time as it takes to learn the language. There are three languages I wish to really learn and they are Italian, Spanish and German.

I would like to obtain Gujarati fluency. I grew up speaking the language with my family and doing some very basic reading and writing. I have recently done some self study so have re-familiariz ed myself with the alphabet, basic grammar, sentence structure, etc. I am still struggling to tie sentences together and express cohesive thoughts. I can quite easily understand most exchanges between native speakers.
I am looking to pass a basic proficiency exam in Gujarati in 12-14 weeks so therefore would like to engage in an intensive, structured learning program with a skilled tutor.
