Our oldest son had an interest in Spanish and a knack for languages. We arranged a 30-day Exchange Program with a family from Madrid, and he became fluent very quicky. Our daughter came to us one day saying, 'I'll never REALLY learn Spanish in America, I need to go to school overseas.' After a short time we chose Ecuador, where she attended her junior year of High School. She became very close to the family she stayed with, returned a fluent speaker, and is now teaching High School Spanish at her old High School. My wife recently returned from a six-week intensive language course, while staying with the same Ecuadorian family, and nowspeaks Sapnish 'acceptable well.' I wouold like very mcuh to 'catch up' to them. I took two years of Spanigh in High School and already have a decent vocabulary (500+ words), and would like to work on conversations and grammar. I will be a good, hard-working student. Available for studies: May 2013 to July 2013.

I am interested in learning the Dutch language. Currently, I only know a few words. I am interested in learning Dutch, so I can have conversations with my boyfriend and his family in Belgium in their native language.
I am willing to dedicate a few hours of lessons on Saturdays, since the time difference will hinder any opportunities during the week, since I work full-time.
I would like to work with an instructor that can teach me proper pronunciation and grammer in eventually achieving the ability to converse effectively.

I am a beginner but have learned some basic words. My boyfriend is from Russia and we have been talking about me visiting Russia, also having children one day and I would like to learn his language. It would benefit me when I visit Russia, help to communicate with his family, and if a child ever happens, help the child learn russian and english. I prefer a in person class to learn. Thanks

I have a boyfriend who is from Spain. He will be coming to meet me this December and I would really like to be able to speak to him in his language. We have found we have very much in common, if you believe in soul mates, than you understand. I am a beginner and trying very hard to find anyway I can to learn Catalan.
A s far as time to study, I have as much time as is needed. I am on disability so I am home. At the present I am on limited exercise, so have many hours to put into the lessons.
I learn quickly, most of the time, although I ask many questions if I do not understand. Qualities I look for in a teacher... someone who is willing to teach as fast as I can learn, yet understands if I get confused. I really want to be able to impress my boyfriend and his family when they arrive, for I will eventually be moving to Spain in the future.
