I am a beginner I don't know any Russian at all. I have experience learning a language as I took two years of Spanish (though I'm not fluent) I am willing to dedicate a couple of hours a week depending on the cost of the lessons. I am a full time college student and I work full time at an insurance company. I am looking for a teacher who will help me learn efficiently and not leave anything out. Preferably I would like a teacher who is funny and who I will be comfortable around, I also hope that certain books and materials will be provided or recommended. I am trying to learn Russian mostly because I help teach an English as a Second Language class and I have made a lot of friends, one or two in particular, who speak Russian.

I am a linguist and translator by profession and speak several languages. I am interested in learning Polish for personal reasons. I am a total beginner and would prefer to have both grammar and conversation lessons. I am willing to meet more than once a week. I will be most comfortable with a teacher who combines modern and traditional language learning techniques, i.e. oral/aural work combined with exercises involving repetition, creative exchange and translation.
