I am currently interested in learning/impr oving my Russian and Spanish.
R ussian:
I am basically a beginner. I've learned the Cyrillic alphabet and some key vocabulary through an online course. I would like to gain not only speaking ability, but a more thorough reading and writing ability.
S panish:
I read Spanish at an intermediate level. I need vast improvement in speaking and writing.
I am learning both languages for my own personal enjoyment and self-improvem ent. I feel I could dedicate an hour or two a week to instruction (per language), with additional time for self-study, homework, practice, etc.
I'm looking for a patient instructor, one with a superior command of either Spanish or Russian.

Hej! My name is Nathan and I have spent the last two months of this summer in Stockholm. I absolutley loved it and I picked up a few words here and there but would really like to learn the entire language and be able to converse with someone. I was there working for my parents who own a company that is based in Sweden. I am thinking of traveling to China sometime in 2006 and would like to learn the language to some degree before this trip. Above and beyond that I think it would be a good idea to learn this language due to China's growth and expected growth.
I do not know which, (Mandarin, Cantonese, etc) would be better to start with.

Hello, We have adopted 2 children from Russia a 1 yr old and a 5 yr old. We very much want to provide them with the ability to keep thir native language and become bilangual, however my husband and I do not speak Russian. So we would like conversationa l clases for us as well as our 5 yr old so he does not forget his language.
