I recently returned from Shanghai where I spent 15 months working. Whilst I was there, I had two hours of 'survival chinese' conversation lessons a week. Given that I needed to get around, buy food etc, I was only interested in grasping the basics, however now I wouldn't mind trying my hand at some characters and reading. However, I still want the main emphasis to be on discussion. As I am currently expecting my first baby, I am only able to have two hours of tuition a week.

I am an economics graduate who wants to learn how to french for career advancement. I'm a beginner with very basic knowledged of french who wishes to learn both the grammar, conversation and any other aspects of french that may be useful to help facilitate my career aspirations to work with the United Nations Organisation.
