I need to learn Arabic (as a beginner) in order to improve my skils at University which I will be attending in September 2010.
I am happy to attend intensive Arabic lessons over a period of 2-3 weeks in order to grasp an understanding of the language. I would enjoy an enthusiastic tutor who has worked with young adults before and would be prepared to intensively teach me Arabic in Beirut.

I travel to Greece twice a year (4 weeks) and would like to learn Greek as spoken by Greeks not as taught on DVD's or by book.At the moment i would class myself as a beginner mainly because i do not currently practise much greek and have no one to interact with.The main topic would need to be conversationa l greek as reading and writing the language does not currently appeal to me.I would like to carry on lessons until my tutor thought i could carry on a coversation in Greek without any major problems in regards of starting,unde rstanding and replying.The tutor would need to be patient as i am a older student and may not pick up the lessons at the speed a younger person would.The tutor would need to be in the newcastle area for ease of access.
