I am a beginner , having no real or formal traing in speaking a second language. I would like to meet with some one who has time and patince to deal with a first timer. We are taking a vaction to Buenos Aires in May of 2008 and i would love to be able to speak the native tounge. I am looking to devote about 2 days a week startig from December till April.

Greetings.
I am looking for opportunities to study Spanish in the state of Tamaulipas, at a language school or with a tutor. I would drive from Wyoming to Texas and then take a bus or train into Mexico. I might spend my first two or three days in a hotel, but then I would enjoy living with a family. I would like to study a few hours each weekday, three-to-five weeks in November and early December, with a teacher one-on-one, in a smaller town, if possible, so a city like Tampico would not be my first choice. My Spanish is improving (intermediate ), but I need more practice with conversation and subjunctive forms. Puedo hablar y escribir un poco, pero yo evito el uso del subjuntivo. My plans are flexible.
