I don't really know my Japanese level. I studied for three years in school, but it's been a year since then. I lost a lot of Japanese, and so I think I'm at a high beginner's level now. I really need to work on my conversationa l skills. I would like to learn the modern speech, so that I can communicate normally when I decide to visit Japan.
I am really just learning this for fun, as I also love the Japanese culture.
Bec ause I'm young and still poor, I need an affordable teacher. I am willing to use up an hour each week to learn Japanese (I would do more if I can afford it). I would like to be taught by someone who is patient, humble, and knows a lot about the modern Japanese entertainment industry (as I love Japanese music).

I would still consider myself a 'beginner' although I have studied Mandarin for the past 15 months. I lived in Shanghai until about 2 weeks ago in which I participated in private lessons twice per week. I am looking to continue learning Mandarin while living in the Nashville area.

I am a beginner. I learn this language because I caught a hold to the way the japanese people talk. The areas that I may need improvement on is pronouncing or writing. I would like to at least have 2hrs of lesson time. There are no specfic qualities they can just be themseleves.
