First, be aware of the level of your student. I can teach them at the level suitable for them. Try to not waste their time by teaching too much simple things that they have already known or too difficult things that are much beyond their understanding .
Secondly, interaction for learning a new language is the most important thing, which means that students are supposed to be encouraged to speak as much as they can. Class time is actually their show time!

It all depends your level and your needs. If you are an absolute beginner, I will teach you Pinying first, and then reading and writing. If you are intermediate, we can focus on speaking and conversation. Chinese is not complicated in grammar at all, but has a lot variation when it comes to speaking. |
