I use a traditional language teaching method of listen/repeat to reinforce correct pronunciation . I interact with all students many times during the hour to allow them to get comfortable speaking French (even at the beginning level). I give and correct homework which is essential for language study. What makes my courses unique is the fact that the numbers are small and the students get individualize d attention in a group setting. Each one gets my time during each class. I make sure that all understand any concept before moving on. Should a student miss I get in touch with him/her and discuss the class and send them the assignments. Thus, all students are always aware of what is going on and advancing. I treat each person as if she/her were my only student. I supplement my courses with articles from French website (newspapers, etc) that my intermediate students read. I bring in guest speakers (from France/Canada /French speaking African countries).
