Teaching Approach

I like to attack the language from the bottom up, starting with grammar as a base for more advanced learning. However, conversation is also a considerable tool for learning, and I like to include it as a daily part of my lessons. I am very good at taking apart the more complicated concepts like those found in a textbook and delivering them to the student in a unique way that simplifies things.

Program Description

I participated in a study abroad program in Spain, so I am familiar with the dialects from there, but my education is more of the Latin American kind. I have taken various Spanish for Business courses, as well as general conversation classes. My specialty is mostly grammar, and I have a good amount of resources for it.

Teaching Experience

I have tutored Spanish for three years at the University of Wisconsin-Mad ison- two as a volunteer and one as a hired tutor.
