Program Description

I studied education as an undergraduate at Palawan State University. There, I had the opportunity to take part in the Community Immersion research project, where I became fascinated with the questions of life and their implications for society.

The future probably belongs to people who see possibilities before they become obvious. It belongs to those very travelers who pierce through the clouds of oblivion with the force of their determination .
I've always believed that the answer to my destiny lies in creating the results that I desire. To tread upon the hallowed grounds of a successful and fruitful career, I must determine the shape that my actions will take, and trust in their finality. This, I am confident will lead me on to the roads of my destiny.
By the time I was 10, I realized that the only thing I could do really well was to teach. When I recall my days at San Jose Elementary School, I discover that the one subject I performed particularly well in was English. Starting with summer training at vacation Bible School and every Sunday in our church I am teaching kids. I teach them Bible stories; help them memorize Bible verses and singing simple kid’s song. I can trace my fascination for Volunteerism and Public Relations (PR) influence my interest in the same, which developed slowly and steadily into a career option, being a teacher.
Right after my, I was introduced to the dynamic world of education by my former professor in Chemistry back in college in Antipolo City. I realized the need to adapt my career angle to suit its ever-changing needs. For the same reason, I took up Master of Arts in Teaching Science at University of Rizal System, the University very near to the place where I am working at that time. I attend to my classes every Saturday. Introspecting today, I believe that my study in the field of Science, my undying love for English and the passion to reach out will provide me with a good base for this pursuit.
To my mind, a real career in Volunteerism cannot be made until one studies it, not purely for its academic appeal but in the hope that it will shed light on the best road ahead. Since the excellence of volunteerism lies in its effectiveness , there is certainly a need for academically trained professionals who are taught to be more strategic and technological ly competent. I may not be that competent but for as long as the willingness of the heart and mind is there; there can no longer be any obstacle too hard to overcome.
I am aware that intensive study in a specialized field is a difficult task to achieve and excel at. But I strongly believe that what When we persist in doing it becomes easier for us to do; not because the nature of the thing has changed, but because the power to do it has increased.
I know where to direct the force of my will, to ensure that my career doesn't lie within the ruins of indecisivenes s. In this decision alone, I choose the only path that shall lead me to certain success in your program.

I have worked in the private school for three years and currently I'm connected with the Dept. of Education here in manila.I am teaching Chemistry. My bachelor's degree though is Biology. I also have experience working in a call center.
