Program Description

I prefer understanding what problems the learners are facing in mastering a language. After that, I focus on those particular areas to build a solid foundation in that language. Finally, to apply what is learnt, I prefer practicing until fluency in grammar and conversations is achieved. This applies to all learners.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching English privately as well as in an institution in Hong Kong for a couple of years. I give private tutions for French.

Teacher Training

I took the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination in 2006. I got a grade A for English and A* for French, ranking top in Hong Kong. I am now studying languages in City University of Hong Kong. I have been working in Modern English Tuition for over four years.

A: I'm available on from Monday to Thursday after 6 and anytime during weekends. Teaching hours are flexible and can be changed upon request.

Q: What other relevant experience makes you a more effective teacher?
A: My experience tells me that learners need more of a friend than a teacher to learn and I stick to this policy. Learners get along well with teachers who are more friendly and easy to talk to. This experience is based on teaching from toddlers to adults and the same principle works with everyone.
