Teaching Approach

The language used is simple, however,vario us techniques are employed to make the lesson interesting. These can be in form of pictures,draw ings or things that are related to the task.

Program Description

My lessons starts very early from 6a.m East African time to 6p.m. Time can be adjusted to suit the students need. Lessons are carried out from simple tasks in beginner stage. The student is taught one task at a time until he/she masters then proceeds to another level.

Teaching Experience

Iam a trained teacher professionall y.I have more than thirty years experience.I started teaching Swahili to foreign students from 2003 March on face to face basis as majority were tourists.
I have retired on 30th June 2023 and feel that I can use my time fully to teach Swahili.

Teacher Training

I was educated up to high school level ,then I proceeded to Kigari Teacher's Training College where I obtained my professional certification in 1990. I taught primary school children from grade one to eight. I then advanced my education by joining university for a Bachelor's degree in education and graduated in 2010.

Frequently Asked Questions

I prefer starting classes early in the morning.
After teaching I give more time for the student to ask questions or discuss on what he/she has not understood.
I prefer to be paid on weekly basis if possible.
